With back firmly on the wall, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza kept his side motivating to come all guns blazing in the upcoming matches of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), revealed Benny Howell, the overseas all-rounder of the Rangpur Riders.
He praised Mashrafe’s leadership quality by saying that the captain is at his best to keep the side positive as the team lost two close matches in a row.

The defending champions Rangpur Riders began their BPL with a defeat but then won two matches in a row before their performance took a nosedive. They lost two close matches that they are well poised to win.
Firstly they lost the high-voltage match against Dhaka Dynamites by two runs, failing to score 14 runs in the last over. Thereafter they were great position of winning the match against comparatively weaker side Rajshahi Kings in a match in which they needed just nine runs but they fell six runs short to loss the game by five runs.
Those two defeats came as a shocker for the side who are one of the red-favourites alongside Dhaka Dynamites to win the BPL trophy. While Benny Howell said that they are not bogged down those defeats, he insisted that their captain helps them to stay positive all the way.
“I think he is a natural leader. Everyone follows him,” said Howell.
“He runs the camp very well. He is helping a lot in that way. He is keeping everyone positive and looking forward to the next game.”
