While Mustafizur was bowling that last over to defend nine runs, Rajshahi Kings skipper Mehidy Hasan Miraj insisted him to hear nobody else.
He said even he didn’t want Mustafizur to take his advice in that nail-biting moment.
Mehidy revealed that he in fact went to him and said him that not to hear anybody and just stuck to the plan of what bowler himself devised.

“I just wanted to say him not to hear me, Soumya Bhai or even Hafeez Bhai! He does well when he bowls according to his own plans,” said Mehidy clarifying as to why he advised Mustafizur not to hear anybody else.
“If he had gone to hear all of us, he would have been failed. I said him to bowl according to his plan, according to his own fielding set-up,” he further added. “Soumya Bhai also said it. But Hafeez bhai was saying something different. We helped him to bowl on his own way and this is why we won the match. I know how he is as a bowler or how he is as a human being.”
In an intriguing display of cutters and yorkers, Mustafizur conceded then just three runs including a bye run and won Rajshahi kings the game by five runs at a moment when it was seemingly slipping away.
Mehidy said once they got the better of Chris Gayle and Mohammad Mithun, they sensed a victory, which was later materialized by Mustafizur’s sensational last over.
“We had the belief from the start of the match because of our bowling line is strong, we knew Fizz and Udana can turn around. Along with them, I and Hafeez also were there to bowl. After the dismissals of Gayle and Mithun Bhai, we had the belief.
