Mushfiqur wants a T20 tournament for local players

Bangladesh senior cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim stressed upon the requirements of launching a new T20 tournament, exclusive for the local cricketers in a bid to hone their skill in the cricket’s shortest format.
He underlined the importance of such sort of tournament because of the players who are not in the national team .
‘’It is tough to play well for the guys who don’t play for the national team because they play only a T20 tournament— BPL,’’ said Mushfiqur.
‘’So, it is tough for them to play well at the start of the tournament,’’ he said.
‘’But things are different for us who play for the national side in all three formats. So doing well is comparatively easy for us. But who are playing still well, they are outstanding, hats off to them. We can learn from them how they are doing well. Many of us have to play with more responsibility. I think the more way we go into the tournament the more well we perform,’’ he said.
‘’I think if there is another tournament like this… it will be good not only for us but for the local players as well. Although it is tough for the tight cricketing schedule. I think BCB is thinking about it. Mallick Bhai had earlier said (to arrange another t20 tournament). I think Bangladesh cricket can be benefitted by another T20 tournament,’’ he concluded.
