The Tigers are taking the dew factor very seriously as their head-coach, Steve Rhodes, was seen returning to the match-venue in Chittagong after the teams were done with their practice sessions.
Zahid Reza Babu, pitch curator at the venue in Chittagong, confirmed Cricfrenzy that the head-coach went to check the moisture-level at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

Dew is a major concern in Chittagong as well as in the sub-continent, at this point of the year. Its effects were seen in the ongoing ODI series between Sri Lanka and England as well.
As dew forms in the evening, the team fielding second are likely to face more difficulties because this factors negates the movement of the ball that is expected to be extracted from the pitch. The bowlers and the fielders also face difficulties gripping the ball and a spin-reliant team like Bangladesh would surely like to avoid defending a total.
The team chasing the target also experience a few inconveniences in such cases as the outfield becomes slow and the batters have to rely more on running between the wickets instead of going to clear the fence.
The toss will play a big role in the second ODI tomorrow (October 24) and if Rhodes is convinced regarding his concerns about the dew factor, there is a possibility that Bangladesh might opt to field first once they win the toss. The Tigers are already short of experienced bowlers in the team as Shakib Al Hasan is out of the squad and Rubel Hossain is also doubtful for the next match and they will surely not take the risk of struggling with the ball to defend the total when they take on Zimbabwe.
