Bangladesh began their preparation for the upcoming home-series against Zimbabwe without pace bowler Rubel Hossain and off-spinner Mehidy Hasan.
On the opening day, both of them were unavailable as they have sustained fever and the BCB officials have confirmed they are expected to return within one or two days.

“We are expecting them to be available in two days,” chief selector Minhajul Abedin told Cricfrenzy. “We have granted them leave as they have sustained fever.”
The Bangladesh national cricket team began their preparation for the series against Zimbabwe, at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Monday. The Tigers will play at home after a gap of eight months when they take on the visitors in the three-match ODI series at the same venue on October 21. They will play the other two matches at Chittagong on 24 and 26 October.
The Tigers will have to maintain their fitness as the team has already been hit with enough injury woes and there is also a tight schedule ahead of them. Following the Zimbabwe-series, they will be host West Indies before taking part in the BPL and then they will be touring New Zealand for another series.
