Hashan Tillakaratne, former Sri Lanka player has a deep connection with Bangladesh cricket. Hashan, who played domestic cricket for Brothers Union and Mohammedan back in 1990s, is very much impressed with the infrastructure of Bangladesh cricket in the recent times.
Hashan is currently working as a head coach of the Sri Lanka Under-19 team. His team reached the final at the Asia cup 2018 in Bangladesh. Hashan, who closely followed Bangladesh cricket, shared his thoughts when he talked to Cricfrenzy on Saturday (October 6), the day before the under-19 Asia cup final.

"Yes, I played for Brothers and Mohammedan. Right now, it has been a big transformation. This country has developed a lot and the cricket has come up in a huge way. So it is good for the country.
"We are happy for that. This is wonderful atmosphere here. They have all the facilities and i am sure the young cricketers will benefit from this."
Sri Lanka under-19 team have had a good run in this Asia cup so far. They defeated Afghanistan, who won the title last time around, in the semi-final and reached the all important final to play against the red hot India.
