Bangladesh women’s national team had a reality check by their Pakistani counterpart as they were embarrassed with a crushing 58-run defeat against Pakistan in the second Twenty20 match at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday.
Bangladesh, who are hosting Pakistan as part of part of their ICC World Twenty20 campaign, were bowled out for their lowest Twenty20 total that suggest it is still a long way to go for the Tigress before turning out to be a force to reckon in the international arena.

Bangladesh batters failed immensely while chasing a mediocre target of 89 runs in a 14-over match and were bundled out for just 30 runs in 12.5 overs.
Earlier, Pakistan scored 88-5 in a delayed start game thanks to their skipper Javeria Khan, who struck highest 25 while Nahida Khan made 18 runs.
Bangladesh’s previous lowest total in Twenty20 format was 44 which they scored against Pakistan at Bangkok in 2016.
