Bangladesh will now look forward to making the best of their recent success against West Indies, after reaching the United Arab Emirates for their Asia Cup campaign on Sunday.
Apart from Tamim Iqbal and Rubel Hossain, who are yet to avail their respective visas, all members of the squad have reached the hosting country.

Bangladesh all-rounder Ariful Haque is ready for any opportunity that can earn him his debut in the ODI format during the Asia Cup. He is ready to contribute with his bowling abilities if the team damands so.
“Naturally we are confident,” said the medium-pacer. “We had good training sessions before the tournament and now it is time to utilize our skills in the middle.”
“I don’t think that the weather will be any different from what we are used to in Bangladesh.
“If there is any chance of making some contributioin with the ball, I am ready to bowl a few overs.”
Bangladesh, placed in group B, will start their journey in the tournament by facing Sri Lanka on September 15 in Dubai before taking on emerging Afghanistan in their second group match on September 20 in Abu Dhabi.
