Mustafizur Rahman out for three weeks

Bangladesh pacer bowler Mustafizur Rahman is out for the at least three weeks due to a hairline fracture on his big left toe. The left-handed pacer was inflicted with the injury during Mumbai Indians’ final league game against Delhi Daredevils when Rishabh Pant powered a shot down the ground and the Cutter Master put out his foot to stop the ball.
While he may have stopped the ball, he injured himself in the process and needed the attention of the physio before he could continue bowling. And now, tests on his toe have revealed that he has indeed suffered a fracture
'Mustafizur [Rahman] had an X-ray yesterday. In that X-ray, we found that he has a hairline fracture on his big left toe and it was also later confirmed in a CT-scan,’ Rabid Imam, media manager of BCB, revealed to the press.
He then stated that it will take at least three weeks for the youngster to get back in training. He also added that his rehab will begin after a week’s rest.

‘This is why he is not going to play against Afghanistan as our medical team believes that it will take 3-4 weeks for him to recover. Right now, we have decided to rest him and after a week or two, his rehab process will begin.
'The medical team said that he will back to training after 3-4 weeks. So we can only get an update after 3 weeks and we are hoping to hear some positive news in 3 weeks.’
Mustafizur Rahman’s replacement has not yet been named but according to Imam, the selectors could come to a decision by the end of the day.
'The selectors are discussing on who could be his replacement and we might get a decision on it by today.’
The Bangladesh team have already flown to India to take part in the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan that begins on the 3rd of June.
