The Tigers stumble at start

This is showtime for the Tigers. After being trumped in the tri-nation series as well as the Test series by the Lankans, the Bangladesh team are looking for some redemption at this point of time.
In the first T20I, they had a chance, but they lost it when Sri Lanka won quite comfortably against them. Despite scoring near 200 runs in the first game, Bangladesh couldn't defend it and lost the first game.
And now, with this being the last encounter of Sri Lanka's tour of Bangladesh, the Tigers have a golden opportunity to give their fans something to cheer about.
Bangladesh have now won the toss and have elected to bowl first. Sri Lanka openers started punishing the bowlers from the very beginning. Kusal Mendis and Danushka Gunathilaka shared an opening stand of 98 runs.
Sri Lanka got the kind of start they wanted. Both of the batsmen maintained the momentum and the kept the score ticking. Kusal picked up his second successive half-century in this series and is batting on 50 off 29 deliveries. Gunathilaka provided the proper support to his partner with 42 off 37 before Soumya Sarkar dismissed him.

Thisara Perera played a quick-fire innings of 31 runs facing 17 deliveries. Debutante Abu Jayed bagged his wicket. Upul Tharanga's cameo of 25 from 13 balls came to an end when Saifuddin took his wicket. Dasun Shanak remained unbeaten playing a innings of 29 runs off 10 deliveries to lift the Lankan score past 200.
Bad fielding caused enough harm for the hosts as they missed a number of chances throughout the whole match.
Coming on to chase the big total, Bangladesh lost three quick wickets as Soumya Sarakar, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mohammad Mithun got out scoring 0, 6 and 5 runs, respectively. Akila Dananjaya dismissed the first batsman and Madushanka dismissed the rest.
Tamim Iqbal tried to salvage some pride for the hosts but could not manage to score more than 29 runs before Aponso got him out. Ariful Haque impress too, as he was out making only 2 runs.
