Mushfiq close to a T20I milestone

Mushfiqur Rahim has a total of 338 dismissals to his name as
a wicket-keeper in international cricket. The former Bangladesh skipper has produced over a hundred dismissals in each of ODIs and Tests. He has effected 47
dismissals in T20I cricket as well.
Only four wicketkeepers has gone past the mark of fifty dismissals in T20Is and the Bangladeshi wicket-keeper is just three dismissals short of joining them. MS
Dhoni has sent the most number of batsmen (76) back to the hut in the shortest
format of international cricket.
Kamran Akmal (60
dismissals), Mohammad Shehzad (52 dismissals), and Dinesh Ramdin (51 dismissals)
are also in the list following the former India skipper.

Mushfiqur Rahim has featured in 62 T20I matches for the Tigers and stood behind the stumps on 56 occasions.
Another milestone awaits Thisara Perera as the Sri Lankan has taken 49 T20I scalps so far in his career. He took 43 wickets while representing the island nation and another 6 wickets while featuring in the World XI against Pakistan in a three-match T20 series, held in Lahore.
The Lankan all-rounder will be one of the very few bowlers who have 50 T20I wickets to their name if he can produce a dismissal in their game against Bangladesh on Sunday. Sri Lanka are already leading the two-match series by 1-0.
Shahid Afridi picked up 97 wickets in T20Is while playing for Pakistan and became the leading wicket-taker in the format followed by Malinga, who has bagged 90 wickets. With Thisara's fiftieth scalp Sri Lanka will equal Pakistan's record of having the most number of bowlers (4) to take fifty wickets in T20Is. Perera will be joining the likes of Ajantha Mendis, Nuwan Kulasekara, and Lasith Malinga once he passes the landmark.
