Sri Lanka are well aware of Bangladesh newcomers

After a disappointing campaign I 2017, Sri Lanka started to
turn things around by defeating Bangladesh in the Test series and the tri-nation
series final. According to the opening batsman, Sri Lanka are confident ahead of the T20 series against Bangladesh.
“We have done well, firstly the one-day series and then Test
series, so we have the confidence. We have the momentum and we want to carry on
with the momentum,” the Lankan skipper said.
When asked if the visitors are overlooking the inclusion of
new faces in Bangladesh squad, Tharanga said that some of their players
featured in BPL and have some ideas on the newcomers.

He said, “A few of our players have played in the BPL and we
saw some of the new faces doing well in that competition. We have seen videos
of them and so yeah, we have some idea on them,"
The left-handed batsman echoed Thisara Perera and agreed
with his statement of Sri Lanka’s being the favorite.
“This series is very important for us as we were not
consistent in the last one and a half or two years. We got the momentum from
the one-day series so I think we are to continue that.
“Our confidence is high so yeah I agree,” Tharanga
concluded.
