With day four promising us an exciting finish to the first Test between India and England, Sam Curran hopes that the English bowlers get Virat Kohli out quickly as the visitors need only 84 runs to win with five wickets in hand.
Both Dinesh Karthik and Virat Kohli will resume batting on day four and Sam Curran, who has had a wonderful match with both the bat and the ball, believes that getting the Indian captain out early is the key to winning the game.
"We do [need to get Virat Kohli out early]. But we need the four wickets at the end as well. It is going to be a good day. It is going to be close. The first hour is going to be crucial, if we can get a couple at the top, hopefully, we win," Curran said at the end of third day's play.

Curran believes that the match is evenly poised at the moment and that there is a lot of cricket left to be played as he hopes that the hosts nick it in the end.
"I think it is pretty even. Obviously, when we had them at 60/5 we were a wise bet. Still, think a lot in the wicket for both bat and ball. So fingers crossed. Hopefully, a big crowd comes in tomorrow."
India have lost five out of their six games in this venue in Tests and drew the remaining one as their quest for their first win in Edgbaston continues. Should they be able to chase down the total, it would be the third highest successful chase at the venue.
