In the PSL 2025 draft, three Bangladeshi cricketers were picked: Litton Das by Karachi Kings, Nahid Rana by Peshawar Zalmi, and Rishad Hossain by Lahore Qalandars.
All three have applied for No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), but the board has not yet made an official decision on their clearance.

According to PCB, Litton and Nahid will be unavailable for a few matches, prompting the need for temporary replacements through the online draft.

Next month, Zimbabwe is scheduled to tour Bangladesh for a two-match Test series. Due to this series, it is understood that Litton and Nahid will miss the initial matches of PSL.
However, since Rishad Hossain has not yet made his Test debut, he is likely to receive a full NOC to participate in the entire PSL season. The final decision is expected to be announced after BCB’s general meeting on Monday.
Besides Litton and Nahid, the online players’ draft will also seek replacements for South Africa’s Rassie van der Dussen and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and Mark Chapman, who will miss a few matches.
