Khulna finally ended the group phase with 12 points, the same number of points that Durbar Rajshahi earned but based on net run rate, Miraz-led side confirmed the playoffs as the fourth team. They, however, are confirmed to play the Eliminator game.

Mustafizur Rahman who ended with 3-16 in four overs, jolted Khulna with two wickets that included the inform Naim Sheikh and Afif Hossain and left them at precarious 14-2.

Miraz played with caution and aggression to steady the side and shared 68-run with Alex Ross, a partnership that kept their nose ahead.

Earlier, Dhaka won the toss and opted to bat first. Tanzid Hasan Tamim provided a flying start alongside Litton Das, but none of the other batters could offer him solid support.

Litton was dismissed after scoring 10 off 10 balls, followed by Habibur Rahman Sohon (3 off 8) and Formanullah (7 off 20), who also failed to make an impact.
Tanzid Tamim, however, showcased his attacking prowess, reaching his fifty in just 28 balls.

He eventually lost his wicket after scoring a brilliant 58 off 37 balls, hitting one four and an impressive seven sixes.

Towards the end, Sabbir Rahman (20 off 17 balls) and Mehedi Hasan Rana (13 off 11 balls) tried to add some quick runs, but Dhaka’s total remained modest, setting up an achievable chase for Khulna Tigers.
