Batting first, Rajshahi managed 119 runs for 9 wickets. Their top order, including Jishan Alam, Sabbir Hossain, and Anamul Haque, failed to contribute.
In the middle order, Yasir Rabbi and Mrittunjoy Chowdhury also fell cheaply. However, lower-order contributions from Akbar Ali (19) and Sunzamul Islam (28 off 29 balls) ensured Rajshahi crossed the 100-run mark.

6 hrs agoIn reply, Rangpur crumbled to 29 for 5 and later 49 for 7, as Rajshahi’s bowlers dominated. Saifuddin and Rakibul Hasan then staged a valiant comeback, with Rakibul scoring 20 runs before being dismissed.
Saifuddin remained unbeaten, smashing 52 runs off 31 balls with six fours and three sixes, keeping Rangpur in the hunt.
With 25 runs needed off the final over, Saifuddin hit two consecutive sixes to reignite hope. However, he couldn’t score off the next two deliveries, leaving too much to do. Despite a four and a six off the last two balls, Rangpur fell short, handing Rajshahi a memorable victory.
Rajshahi now has 5 wins in 11 matches, keeping their hopes alive for a spot in the Super Four.
