Meanwhile, Chittagong suffered their fourth defeat in nine matches but held on to the third spot on the points table.


Chasing the target, Dhaka got off to a strong start as Litton Das and Tanzid Tamim added 75 runs in 9 overs. While Litton played a steady knock of 25 off 28 balls, Tanzid was in an aggressive mood, reaching his fifty in just 28 balls with a flurry of sixes.

Earlier, Chittagong Kings managed only 148/6 in their 20 overs. Despite a cautious start, the openers Naeem Islam and Zubaid Akbari added 40 runs off 44 balls. Zubaid was bowled by Mosaddek Hossain for 23 off 19 balls.


Naeem then partnered with Graham Clark to accelerate, adding 49 runs off 31 balls. Clark scored 19 off 18, while Naeem top-scored with 44 off 40 before falling to Mosaddek.



Contributions from Shamim Hossain (15 off 16), Haider Ali (16 off 11), and captain Mohammad Mithun (12* off 8) helped Chittagong reach 148/6. Mosaddek Hossain and Nazmul Islam Apu were the standout bowlers for Dhaka, claiming 2 wickets each for 13 and 27 runs, respectively.


With this emphatic win, Dhaka Capitals remain in contention for the playoffs, while Chittagong will look to bounce back in their upcoming matches.
