Shakib Al Hasan out of T20I squad

In what seems like a very expected turn of events, Shakib Al
Hasan has been withdrawn from the T20I series just a day after his name was announced
in the squad. The captain of the T20I team of Bangladesh suffered a finger
injury in the final game of the tri-nation series against Sri Lanka.
As a result, he not only failed to appear in that game, he
also had to sit out of the Test series against the Lankans. In his absence, Mahmudullah
Riyad was made the captain for the two Tests, but he couldn’t inspire the team
to a victory as Bangladesh lost the series 1-0.

And now, as Bangladesh are looking for vengeance against the
Lankans, they have already been hit with a bad news just a day after the good
news of his return. In his absence in the T20I, there is a good chance that Tamim Iqbal will take over the reins of the national team when the matches start from the 15th of February.
