Former Bangladesh captain fails to make an impression

The Dhaka Premier League is the place to perform for
cricketers aspiring to represent the Bangladesh cricket team. A good outing in
the competition puts a said player in the gaze of the selectors. For Mohammad
Ashraful, this is a very important tournament as he seeks redemption and get
back into the national team.
And so far, after starting brilliantly for Kalabagan Krira
Chakra, smashing 14 from 11 balls, with the help of 3 boundaries, he has perished
without scoring another run and after playing 5 more balls. While he might have
started well, he couldn’t play a long innings that was required to make an
impression.
KKC are currently batting at 50/3 after 17 overs after
losing the toss and being put to bat by Prime Bank Cricket Club.
