BREAKING: Salman Butt to play in DPL

In what could be a great addition to the Dhaka Premier League, Pakistani left-handed batsman Salman Butt is reportedly going to join Mohammedan for this year’s DPL.
This is not the first time that a foreign player is going to be play in the Dhaka Premier League. The likes of Shahid Afridi, Arjuna Ranatunga, Mohammad Yousuf, Wasim Akram and Heath Streak have all graced the tournament with their shining presence.

Even last year, there were quite a few foreign players in the tournament. It is expected that there will be a few foreign additions in this year's edition and the first one to arrive is the former Pakistan captain and opener, Salman Butt, who is set to represent Mohammedan.
The officials of the club informed Jago News about the proceedings. The left-handed batsman is set to arrive in the country on Monday (today) and if he does that, he will take on the field to play against Brothers on Wednesday.
Butt, who was convicted for match-fixing, is desperate to make a comeback to the Pakistan national team after finishing his punishment period. And the DPL might help him do just that.
