Runs galore for Anamul Haque Bijoy

There are some players who fade to nihil after being dropped
from the team. Some others, however, pick themselves up and flood the world
with their runs or wickets, depending on the role of the player. And Anamul
Haque Bijoy is of the latter caliber.
The opening batsman set the domestic circuit on fire with
his runs and has continued his good form in the practice matches that are being
played ahead of the tri-nation series. With an auto target set at 285 runs, the
players of the Bangladesh cricket team came down to chase it.

Tamim Iqbal and Mohammad Mithun couldn’t ensure many runs on
the board before departing to the pavilion. Anamul Haque Bijoy and Mushfiqur
Rahim, however, scored a century each to chase the target in the 49th
over.
Meanwhile, Nasir Hossain couldn’t come up with a performance
expected of him while Saifuddin played some big shots during the tail-end of
the innings.
In terms of bowling, spinner Sanjamul Islam took 3 wickets
to be the pick of the bowlers for the defenders.
