Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed former New Zealand batsman Craig McMillan as Bangladesh National Team new Batting Consultant for the Tour of Sri Lanka 2020.
BCB confirmed McMillan's appointment through a press release today.
Regarding McMillan's appointment, BCB director and its Cricket Operations Chairman Akram said they have appointed McMillan for the upcoming Sri Lanka series.

"We have got McMillan for the Sri Lanka series," said Akram Khan.
"We will have some more time after the series. We will then think for the future plan. We'll search another one for the long term basis," Akram told Cricfrezy.com.
In a decade-long international career for the Black Caps, McMillan had scored over 8,000 international runs for New Zealand in Test, ODI and T20 formats.
Following his retirement as a player, McMillan performed the role of New Zealand’s batting/fielding coach from 2014-2019.
He has also coaching experiences with Canterbury, Middlesex and Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab.
The Bangladesh Team is scheduled to tour Sri Lanka for three Test matches in October-November this year. McMillan will join the team during its pre-tour camp in Sri Lanka.
Noteworthy, former batting consultant Neil McKenzie agreed to work with the BCB for red-ball cricket beside white-ball cricket. But he is reluctant to return to Bangladesh ahead of the Sri Lanka series to be stayed with his young family due to coronavirus pandemic.
Finally the BCB appointed McMillan to replace McKenzie as a stopgap solution prior to the series.
