ICC president candidate and former West Indies chief Dave Cameroon has expressed that world cricket needs changes from the current direction.
Cameroon is one candidate for the post of ICC president in this year elections where he has to fight with other leading candidates.
In a Cricfrenzy lockdown live session, Dave Cameroon has revealed that he was highly successful in his tenure as president in West Indies cricket.

‘’I think the noise that I have heard back home it's been personal, I would like them to show me in terms of my performance, we won three championships under my tenure. I was able to provide the board with its own home in Antigua, first-ever. We came out in the black at the end of my entire tenure. ‘’Dave Cameroon stated in his interview
‘’So, apart from the personalities and issues that players had with me, I made a distinction because back in 2014 which is what had produced the players that we have known in the UK and show that the entire world believes has a very good chance against England and so, we had to change the system and the change is difficult,’’he added
‘’ Some people reacted to the change very differently, I made one of those things. And I would like to bring that kind of fortitude to the ICC chairmanship because I think the world cricket needs a change from the current direction,’’ He pointed out.
The former West Indies president said that he is banking on his experience as it can help him if he is elected as ICC chairman.
‘’Two years ago there were a number of board members who actually thought I should have challenged the then Chairman. But I wasn't ready I'm out of time and West Indies cricket obviously not on that stage, I don't think I wanted to leave it at that point’’ dave Cameroon added
