BCB and SLC to take decision on Tigers tour by May 15

Sri Lanka Cricket [SLC] has opened their office with limited staff and employees after near two-month of lockdown while it announced that will take a decision on the tour by Bangladesh and India will within May 15.
Bangladesh was supposed to tour Sri Lanka in July-August for a series of three Tests which will be part of the World Test Championship. Which has been halted by both Bangladesh Cricket Board and SLC to asses the situation and then to take the decision.
Like Bangladesh, the India team was also scheduled to play in Sri Lanka which has been also under the radar of discussion and both boards will disclose their decision on this May 15.

"The Cricket Boards of India and Bangladesh wanted time till May 15 to assess the situation and we have given them time till then. We will take a collective decision only by that time,” said Ashley De Silva, chief executive, Sri Lanka Cricket.
After near two-month of lockdown, the government of Sri Lanka took their first steps towards normality yesterday, while allowing offices and institutions to start work with limited staff, employees. Where SLC also started to resume their office.
Ashley De Silva said that most of the officials started to work and also providing transportation for the employees.
“Most of them have reported working today. I am also in office. We will bring the staff which is required to come and carry out the day to day operations regularly during the course of this week and the following week,” said De Silva.
“We have done a roster and we are getting them down on a roster basis we are not getting all the staff at once. Most of them came on their own and those who didn’t have transport we provided them with it. The majority of them are from the Colombo areas,” he added.
