Gibbs auctions '438' ODI bat to raise funds for Covid-19

Former South Africa player Herschelle Gibbs will auction the bat he used in his famous ‘438’run chase against Australia to raise funds for Covid -19.
Gibbs is very popular with the Bangladesh cricket fans as he coached a BBPL team named Sylhet thunder in this competition

The novel coronavirus wreaks havoc across the world, cricketers from most countries have been doing their bit in the fight against the pandemic.
On Friday, Gibbs posted images of his prized bat on Twitter with the caption: "Supersport showing the #438 game. The bat I used that day will be up for auction to raise funds for COVID. Kept it all these years."
Then South Africa coach Mickey Arthur was quick to respond by saying: "Good work Hersch ..that should be worth a bit!"
Earlier last week, Gibbs's former teammate AB de Villiers revealed he will auction his Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey along with Virat Kohli's kits from an Indian Premier League (IPL) match in 2016 to help raise funds for the Covid-19 relief.
Bangladesh banned all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and India top orde wicket-keeper batsman has already sold their favorite bats to raise funds against Covid-19.
