Karachi in Coranavirus scare,PCB set up Hospital

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday said that fans attending Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 fixtures at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will have access to a 20-bed temporary hospital at the ground floor of the National Hockey Stadium in light of the coronavirus outbreak.
Bangladesh Cricket team is scheduled to travel to Pakistan for the third phase of their tours on March 29 which consists of one test and one-day internationals.

‘’For us players' safety comes as the first priority and we are not going to compromise with it at any cost.We will talk with PCB in this regard and if we see that there is any threat then certainly we will not send our team to Pakistan. But at the moment it is too early to make a decision in this regard as we still have time on our hands,’’ said BCB officials.
According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the 32-member hospital will be monitored by General Hospital and be operational till March 23 — a day after the PSL 2020 final.
The staff includes five doctors and 12 paramedical staff, while the temporary hospital is equipped with an operation theatre, a laboratory for tests, a pharmacy and a rescue ambulance.
The press release also stated that medical services and medicine will be provided free of charge.
Meanwhile, a six-bed temporary hospital was set up in Karachi at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre while a three-bed hospital was established at ARID University in Rawalpindi.
