Bangladesh Cricket Board is gearing up to receive their golden boys as the ICC Under-19 World Cup winners are due to arrive on February 12.
Though the time and date of the grand reception for the World Cup winners that is expected to be hosted by the government at the Sohrawardy Institute is yet to be finalized, BCB is leaving no stone unturned to make sure they give them some kind of reception upon arrival.

In a country where success is not very common, every achievement is celebrated with huge pomp and glory. And when it is the occasion of clinching their maiden trophy in an ICC event, that celebration was boundless and it appears that it will be continued in the coming days as well.
But now it is time to welcome their heroes who are expected to arrive in the evening instead of their initial schedule that suggested that they would arrive in the morning.
BCB is determined to give the Akbar-led squad some kind of reception in the Airport while they are expected to bring them to the BCB premises straightaway from the Airport.
‘’The under-19 team was supposed to arrive on tomorrow [Wednesday] morning, now they will arrive evening at 5.00 pm (BST). So we are making the plans accordingly, and considering everything we are trying to arrange something within a short period, ’Bangladesh Cricket Board chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury told reporters at the BCB premises where the walls are decorated with different banners.
‘’They will be brought back from the airport, there will be arrangements here, then they will go to their family. According to the schedule, they are supposed to leave by tomorrow morning. Who are in Dhaka, they will leave tomorrow (today) night,’’ he said.
