Bangladesh beat south Africa to reach under 19 world cup semifinal

Bangladesh under 19 cricket team put a clinical team performance against South Africa as they beat them by huge 104 runs the 3rd quarterfinal at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom on Thursday.
Bangladesh will now face New Zealand in the semifinal at the same venue on February 6.
Before eliminating the hosts in the Super League Quarter-final, Bangladesh came to this stage as the champions of Group C.

South Africa has won the toss and sent Bangladesh to bat first who put 261 runs for five-wicket in their stipulated 50 over .in reply south Africa bundled out for 157 runs in 42.3 overs
South Africa had a good start with their chase scoring 34 runs in the opening partnership. But Tanzim Hasan Sakib came in and scalped Khanya Cotani for 15 off 33 balls. After losing the first wicket, South Africa lost their way to the win.
Left-arm spinner Rakibul Hasan took the second wicket of South Africa and he took another four in the innings. His tremendous bowling efforts helped the junior Tigers pick up a big win.
Rakibul bagged five wickets conceding 19 runs in 9.3 overs. The spinner earlier took the first hat-trick of this World Cup. Tanzim Hasan Sakib took two wickets while Shoriful Islam and Shamim Hossain took one wicket each
Earlier in the day half-centuries from Tanzid, Hridoy and Shahdat, Bangladesh managed to post 261 for five in 50 overs. Tanzid was the top scorer for Bangladesh for Bangladesh scoring 80 runs of 84 balls with 12 boundries.
Shahadat played a crucial knock in the end and remain remained unbeaten on 74 off 76 with seven fours and one six
