Bangladesh skipper Mominul Haque believes that it was a huge learning experience for them in the just concluded two-match Test series against India.
India completed an innings and 46-run win over Bangladesh in the second Test, a maiden day-night affair for both of the teams with pink ball, after the visitors could survive only 48 minutes of the third day.
India thereby sealed the series 2-0 at iconic Eden Gardens here on Sunday and also remained unbeaten in World Test Championship with maximum 360 points. Bangladesh meanwhile couldn’t gather any point in their first WTC series.

Mahmudullah Riyad, sustained a hamstring injury and subsequently retired hurt for 39 on day two, didn’t come to bat, as Bangladesh ended their second innings on 195-9 in 41.1 overs.
Fast bowler Umesh Yadav took all the remaining three wickets on day three to finish with 5-53, his third five-for in Test cricket after Bangladesh resumed on 152-6. Ishant Sharma had figures of 4-56.
Indian fast bowlers claimed available 19 wickets in this match to help the side seal their fourth consecutive innings victory and a record 12th series win at home.
‘’I think we could not play as a team. There are lots of areas to improve. If we can do that than we can do well in the upcoming Test matches. I think we failed to make partnerships and paid the price of it,’’ he said.
‘’It was a huge learning experience for us and if we can learn our lesson than hopefully we can do well in the future. You all know we don’t play too many Test matches. We have nearly 10 Test matches next year and if we can play lot of Test matches than we probably overcome these lackluster performances,’’ he said.
