Enigmatic Jamaica and West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels has shrugged off any notion of retirement as the right-hander has been drafted to play in season three of the Abu Dhabi T10 league, which is scheduled to bowl off on November 15.
Samuels will turn out for the Karnataka Tuskers in the eight-team tournament, which also features several other West Indian stars.
Samuels, who last played a competitive game for the West Indies in a T20 match in August of 2018 against Bangladesh in Fort Lauderdale, will line up alongside West Indians Kesrick Williams, Evin Lewis, Johnson Charles, and Fabian Allen in the Tuskers squad.

WEST INDIANS APLENTY
Current West Indies captain Kieron Pollard and Guyanese left-hander Chandrapaul Hemraj has been drafted to play for the Deccan Gladiators, while Sherfane Rutherford will turn out for the Delhi Bulls.
Trinidadian Dwayne Bravo, who missed the 2019 CPL due to injury, is expected to return to competitive action for the Martha Arabians alongside Jamaican Chadwick Walton.
The Northern Warriors, who will be led by their icon player Darren Sammy, has the most West Indians in their set-up, with the likes of André Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Lendl Simmons, Rayad Emrit, and Mark Deyal set to lead their charge.
Opener André Fletcher is the only West Indian in the Bangla Tigers squad, while new leg-spinning sensation Haden Walsh Jnr has been picked up by Team Abu Dhabi. Several global stars, including England T20 captain Eoin Morgan, Australian Shane Watson, and Pakistan veteran all-rounder Shahid Afridi will also take part in the tournament, which will run from November 15 to 24.
