8:33 PM: Zimbabwe captain Hamilton Masakadza was on fire and seemed to have taken the match away from Bangladesh. But Mohammad Saifuddin dismissed him for 34, much to the delight of the partisan crowd. Credit should be gone to Sabbir Rahman also who dived in front to take an excellent shot.

8:25 PM: Fast bowler Mustafizur struck in his first over as he took the prized scalp of Craig Ervine who failed to negotiate a short delivery and top-edged to deep mid-wicket where Mosaddek Hossain completed an easy catch. Ervine scored 11 to leave Zimbabwe at 51-2.
