Indian premier league (IPL) franchise team Kolkata Knight Riders has decided to change their head coach Jacques Kallis to bring new one for the next season. The South African great was appointed as the head coach of KKR back in October, 2015.
Venky Mysore, CEO of KKR thanked Kallis for his service and said he will always be an integral part of KKR.

“Jacques Kallis has been an integral part of the KKR family & will always remain so. We will be exploring ways of working with Jacques as we pursue our vision of establishing the Knight Rider brand as a global brand." Myrose said.
Kallis acknowledged KKR for being with him for nine years and thanked them for the happy memories. Kallis joined KKR as a player in 2011. In the next season, he helped the Knight Riders win their first-ever Indian Premier League (IPL) title. The all-rounder scored over 400 runs and took 15 wickets as KKR beat Chennai Super Kings in the final. Two years later, Kallis again helped them to win the title. In 2015, Kallis returned to the franchise as their batting consultant before becoming their head coach in October after Trevor Bayliss resigned to take over as England head coach.
“After 9 fantastic years with KKR since 2011, as a player, mentor and Head Coach, it’s time to explore new opportunities. I would to like to thank the Owners, Management and fellow players for many happy memories.” Kallis said.
