Rumors are rife that Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur may get sacked because of poor World Cup performance. He is summoned to a meeting with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on July 27.
PCB will discuss the performance of Arthur in the last three years and they will also decide about the future of Arthur in this meeting. Cricket Committee chairman Wasim Khan and members Wasim Akram, Misbah-ul-Haq and Urooj Mumtaz will be present in this meeting.

Arthur is also told to present a report of his last three years' performance in this meeting. After the meeting, this committee will inform their decision to PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani. After that, they will decide about Arthur’s future.
Pakistan have achieved a lot during Arthur’s term. They won the Champions Trophy in 2017 and are currently at the top of the Twenty20 team rankings. But he failed to take in the World Cup semifinal. For this, his performance has come into question.
Pakistan won five matches in the World Cup. They finished the World Cup being fifth in the point table with 11 points. They had the same points as New Zealand but couldn’t qualify due to less run rate.
