English Wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler is ready to take the responsibility as England Captain if regular skipper Eoin Morgan doesn’t recover before the game against Afghanistan. But he keeps his finger crossed as far as Morgan’s availability is concerned.
"I would be chuffed but I'd rather Eoin plays," said Buttler who is the vice-captain of the England team.

Leading a team is not anything new to him, he has done this six times before, he won 4 matches and lost two.
Buttler believes if he captains against Afghanistan in the absence of their regular captain Eoin Morgan, the experience of playing under Morgan will help him a lot.
"I have played under Eoin for a long time and he's a fantastic captain and he's someone I have tried to learn from as vice-captain. We speak a lot about the game, we've got similar views so it will be very similar if it was me." Buttler said.
Eoin Morgan endured a painful back spasm while fielding against West Indies on Friday. Before that incident, Jason Roy also tweaked his left hamstring. England team is in a spot of bother regarding these two injuries because they are two very valuable members of England squad in this World Cup.
England will face Afghanistan at Old Trafford on Tuesday. England is sitting on the third position of the point table with 6 points, with three wins and a loss and Afghanistan is languishing at the bottom of the table after being defeated in all matches they played.
