With 386 runs in the first innings against Bangladesh, England becomes the team with most consecutive 300 plus scores. They have done it seventh times in a row and Australia is on the second spot with six consecutive 300 plus scores.

It all started with the series against Pakistan, in that series England scored 4 consecutive 300 plus scored and they also scored over 300 runs in their first three World Cup matches against South Africa, Pakistan and Bangladesh.  Australia scored 6 consecutive 300 plus scores in 2007, They hit 300+ in the last two ODIs of their bilateral away series against New Zealand and repeated that in their first 4 games of the 2007 World Cup.

England is also on the verge of leveling the record of consecutive 300+ scores in the World Cup, if they score 300+ runs against West Indies in their next match they will match Australia with 4 consecutive 300+ scores in the World Cup.

England also scored their highest run [ 386 runs ] in the World Cup in the match against Bangladesh, their second highest is 338 runs against India in the 2011 World Cup.

386 runs is also their second highest ever score against Bangladesh, 391 runs is their second-highest score against Bangladesh.
