Rubel should play against England: Zaheer Khan

The former Indian left-arm fast bowler Zaheer Khan thinks Rubel should start against England. He thinks Bangladesh should pick Rubel alongside Mashrafee, Mustafiz, and Saifuddin for Saturday’s match because the condition suits pace bowling.
“ I think Rubel should start. But it depends whether they are ok to do that kind of change. I think the condition is going to demand that. As Cardiff is close to Bristol [ Pakistan vs Sri Lanka match got abandoned due to rain in Bristol ] and it will be a similar type of condition, if there is rain around and over head conditions are supporting seam bowling, there will be a lot of help for the pacers.”
Zaheer thinks to take to this advantage Bangladesh must make tactical changes in their team. And the team management should be open-minded to do so. Bangladesh won against South Africa in Oval and spinners played a big role in that match but Zaheer thinks the situation is different in Cardiff and they should pick another fast bowler to take advantage of the condition.
“ They have to make the tactical change. This is gonna fall under the tactical change side of it. And as a team management, you should be open to doing that. They were playing in London, it was Oval where they had success, where traditionally we have seen that spinners played a part, but in Cardiff, it will be different. So, I think Bangladesh should look for that extra seam option for sure going forward in tomorrow’s match. “
