Zimbabwean all rounder Kyle Jarvis said that they are looking forward to the inclusion of Sikandar Raza in the upcoming tour of Bangladesh as it will help them raise their confidence.

Zimbabwean will begin their campaign with a three-match ODI series from October 21 and will follow it up with two Test matches.

Zimbabwe batsman Sikandar Raza has been recalled for the upcoming overseas tour to Bangladesh after he sorted out the contractual issues with Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) on September 24.

The right-hander had played club cricket in England without obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC), and then on being denied the same ahead of the inaugural Gloal T20 Canada, Raza had gone ahead to unilaterally terminate his national contract.

Understandably, ZC raised concerns before deciding to not renew his central contract, earlier this month.

Subsequently, he had been omitted from the squads for the upcoming tours to South Africa and Bangladesh. Raza sat in a meeting with ZC's contracts committee and apologised for his actions, while reassuring them of his commitment to play for the national cricket team.

‘’Yeah, he is obviously a big playe r for us. He has been very good over the last 18 months. So it is a big boost to having him back. His spin and batting in the middle order will be very valuable;’’ Kyles said.

Kyle’s added that they are aware of host strategy and will be banking on their experience of playing in Tigers den regularly. ‘’It is always tough as they are a very good team and they beat some of the world’s best team here,’’ said Kyle.

‘’When we come to Bangladesh, we know we gonna to face top quality spinners on turning pitches,’’ he said

‘’We have some guys who played BPL and we play every year (in Bangladesh). So, we definitely have a good chance but it is always tough as they are a very good team,’’ he added.
