Bangladesh chief selector Minhajul Abedin said on Wednesday (October 10) that they have prepared the best possible squad for the upcoming series against Zimbabwe, adding that there is no chance of doing high-scale experimentation.
Minhajul’s announcement came after he sent the names of a 15-member squad for approval to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan following a long discussion about it with concerned authorities.

“You will see the squad after being approved by the board president. So, wait a bit for it,” Minhajul told reporters at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
“Already we’ve readied a 15-man ODI squad for Zimbabwe series. We’ve sent it to the [BCB] president for the final approval. Overall the best possible side has been prepared because every series is important for us.
“There is no chance to take it lightly. In that sense, our best team will play against Zimbabwe as we have a matter of points and rakings. We want to see our best possible side playing against Zimbabwe,” he said.
The Zimbabwe team will arrive on October 15 to play two Tests and three ODIs against the Tigers.
