Zimbabwe superstar all-rounder Sikandar Raza has been called up for the upcoming overseas tour of Bangladesh after initially being excluded from the list. This news comes after a number of disputes between Raza and Zimbabwe Cricket but now it seems as though the two parties have decided to bury the hatchet.
The problems surfaced when the right-handed played club cricket in England without acquiring the No Objection Certificate from ZC. When he was once again denied the NOC to play in the Global T20 Canada, Raza decided to terminate his contract with the national team.

However, the two parties have resolved their issues after Raza apologized for his actions in a meeting with ZC’s contract committee and will now find himself gearing up to take on Bangladesh.
He is, however, not in the squad to tour South Africa.
“I am extremely delighted with the news and thanks to ZC who quickly sorted out my issues,” Raza spoke of his delight at being called up again. “I just want to put this behind me and concentrate on and enjoy my cricket.”
Meanwhile, Givemore Makoni, ZC acting managing director, expressed his joy at being able to find a common ground with Raza as he labeled him as one of the best players.
“We are pleased to have found common ground with Sikandar, who is one of our best players. We welcome him back to the national team set-up and we hope he will contribute immensely in Bangladesh and in future tours,” he said.
