CWAB distribute TK17 Lakhs

The Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) provided monetary assistance of Tk 17,00,300 to the country’s 396 distressed people.
The fund was raised by former and current cricketer was given to coaches and other staff including organizers, scorers, umpires, ground men from a different level, who are all financially insolvents and have been struggling to earn daily bread amid lockdown countrywide in the wake of pandemic coronavirus outbreak.

The association also distributed foods among 600 vulnerable families yesterday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur under the banner titled ‘CWAB’s efforts amid corona crisis’.
In the press release, CWAB general secretary Debabrata Paul said that
CWAB will always be keen and careful to keep the privacy of the identity of those who took help. Also, those who helped to raise the fund CWAB thanked them wholeheartedly.
CWAB president and former captain of Bangladesh National Cricket team Naimur Rahman Durjoy MP, Vice-president and another former captain Khaled Mahmud Shujon, Athar Ali Khan, Habibul Bashar Sumon, Sanwar Hossain, Salim Shahid and other members were present on the occasion.
