CWAB’s efforts amid corona crisis

The Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) has stepped forward to support country’s needy former and current cricketers, coaches and other staff including organizers, scorers, umpires, ground men from a different level.
CWAB decided to assist those who are financially insolvents and have been struggling to earn daily bread amid lockdown countrywide in the wake of pandemic coronavirus outbreak.

The association will initially distribute foods among 390 families at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday under the banner titled ‘CWAB’s efforts amid corona crisis’ while others will get cash assistance through their respective bkash, bank accounts and other convenient financial services.
CWAB president and former captain of Bangladesh National Cricket team Naimur Rahman Durjoy MP, Vice-president and another former captain Khaled Mahmud Shujon and other members will be present of the occasion.
They are expecting to spend TK 17 Lakhs for the corona affected people.
