Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis official said that they not sure whether they can host Dhaka Premier League after Eid as that they cannot commit now as they will have to consider many things before making a final decision regarding it.
‘’We have to consider couple things. ICC will have their own recommendations on how we do certain things and then we will also have to see how other boards will be resuming their cricket,’’ Kazi Inam told reporters on Sunday.

‘’We only can make our decisions after assessing the situations here. Like there’s no affect of coronavirus in New Zealand. So they can restart but it would not be same in New York,’’ he said.
‘’So we have to see our own condition in our country. We have to get clearance from our government. After assessing the situations here we will do what will be required as soon as possible,’’ said
CCDM chairman Kazi Inam Ahmed told daily sun when his attention was drawn regarding the future of DPL more so after Cricket Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) announced on Saturday that they have decided to request CCDM to resume Dhaka Premier League after Eid ul Fitr, complying health regulations.
CWAB, which also represents Bangladesh in player’s global body FICA, took the decision during a meeting of their executive members when the matter was tabled up among them.
CCDM initially postponed DPL on March 16 after the first round match of the competition but later decided to postpone it for indefinite period after coronavirus crisis turn from worse to bad,
