Tamim exposes Mushfiqur’s superstitious act

Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal revealed that Mushfiqur Rahim sat in bathroom as an act of superstition during their Champions Trophy game in the Edgbaston.
Tamim hosted an Instagram live show with Mushfiqur and during the 40 minutes show there were lot of topics but Tamim revealed one incident that exposed the superstitious character of Mushfiqur.
According to Tamim the right-handed batsman always need a big place in the dressing room and during the last Champions Trophy when they went to Edgbaston they had a fight after Mushfiqur sat in a chair that could have been three cricketers due to the fact the dressing room was small in size.
Rahim chose to sit in the bathroom afterward and went to score on 70 odd runs during that match and when Bangladesh returned to play another game Mushfiqur opted to sit in the same place instead of taking anyplace inside the dressing room.
‘’That was a shower room not bathroom,’’ Mushfiqur replied when Tamim asked him why he opted to sit in the same place, adding that he don’t feel it got anything to do with superstition but only help him earn confidence.
‘’It is not like superstition,’’ said Mushfiqur.
For someone it is using a particular bat or gloves for me it is like gaining confidence as you have got some good memories attached to it,’’ he said.
