Bangladesh Under-19 fitness coach Richard Stonier said that Under-19 skipper Akbar Ali is one of the finest strategist captain in the world.
In the tensed final between Bangladesh and India Under-19 team where one point Bangladesh team was almost falling in front of the team India, the skipper Akbar Ali hold the momentum for his team and batted an intense inning of 43 from 77 balls and sealed the win for Bangladesh and won the prestigious cup for the first time in the history of Bangladesh cricket.
Stonier in a live video session with Cricfrenzy told that part of Akbar Ali that is very hardworking and brave to handle the situation and also he is one of the best in the world in terms of strategy as a skipper.
"In a word, Akbar is very hardworking and brave. He is one of the best in the world in terms of strategy as a captain. Proof of this is that we are the world champions and the number one team in the world. Staying cheerful all the time, hardworking, much more mature than his age," said Stonier.
The fitness coach also stated that he can see a bright future of players like Akbar, Hridoy, Tamim, Sakib and Shariful in the highest level. And thinks also with time goes Akbar will able to learn more and will be more capable.
"In the future, you will see Akbar, Hridoy, Tamim, Sakib, Shariful will go to their highest level. Everyone has to be patient as the captain of the national team. Akbar still has a lot to learn.
