Azim Cricket Club was awarded two points from the match while Progoti Sangha was penalized Taka Two Lakh while their skipper Monir Uddin was fined Taka Twenty Five Thousand along with two-match suspension.

The decision was taken during a CCDM meeting on Wednesday in this regard as the game had to be called off in the 9th over of the Dhanmondi Progoti Sangha innings after the team refused to play protesting an umpiring decision.
According to a press release of BCB emailed on late Wednesday it was stated that CCDM after reviewing the incident was unanimous in its observation that the aggressive and threatening nature of protests by Dhanmondi Progoti Sangha and the club’s eventual refusal to play were against the spirit of the game.
‘’After taking into consideration the Match Referee’s report and all relevant factors, the CCDM has taken the above mentioned disciplinary measures against Dhanmondi Progoti Sangha which will come into immediate effect,’’ BCB was quoted in the email.
