Rajshahi Kings captain Mehidy Hasan Miraj knew the rules but still he was such desperate that he didn’t hesitate of posing a fake dive that resulted a five runs penalty.
Those five runs could have been a reason for their defeat but thanks to Mustafizur Rahman they ended up winnings game.

A contrite Mehidy later vowed not to repeat the mistake in his career.
“I knew the rule. But I did a mistake. I was in a situation when it badly needed to prevent a run and ball was away from me,” he revealed.
“I was not sure what to do, and thereafter, the false dive came to the scene. I knew the rule of penalty runs. I will not repeat it again. I was excited at that time, and I will try to stay cool in future in the same situation.”
