Defending champion Rangpur Riders skipper Mashrafe bin Murtaza said that they need to regroup quickly as time is running fast for them in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League
Rangpur lost a close game against Dhaka Dynamites that went right down the wire as they failed to score 14 runs in the last over while they repeated a similar action against Rajshahi Kings when they failed to accumulate nine runs in the last over to earn their third loss in five games.
‘’Obviously it became tough now,’’ Mashrafe told reporters after the game.

‘’Specially getting defeated in this way in two consecutive matches in this manner is disappointing,’’ he said.
‘’One victory might turn the overall momentum. In last season we lost 3 matches out of 6 as well. If we can win the last one then it will be quite similar,’’ he said.
‘’Actually, we are being unable to hold the momentum that is required in T-20,’’ he added.
‘’According to me, if you take a look at our last two defeat, I think it would be an excuse to say anything. Because, to take 29 runs in 22 balls, to have 7 wickets in hand. We lost the previous match. Today, almost form middle over it was on a same equation of required run with remaining balls,’’ he said
‘’Even after six overs over it was on a same equation of required run with remaining balls. Therefore, there was not that pressure that we couldn’t win the match,’’ he said.
‘’The way we had lose our matches, any reason would be an excuse,’’ he added.
