Netherlands pacer Logan Van Beek was boasting confidence in his side’s ability to beat Bangladesh in the upcoming World Cup fixture, he also stated that having former Bangladesh coaches Russell Domingo and Ryan Cook will give them an extra advantage over the Tigers.

During a pre-match press conference, Van Beek mentioned that they have prepared well for the upcoming match against Bangladesh. He also noted that the players were feeling calm and relaxed.

"This is the biggest match that we're probably going to play for this tournament. And so, the preparations have been very nice. We've stayed at a very nice hotel in Sandals . The boys have been relaxed. We had a great training yesterday. Today's our first time at the ground, and it looks like it's in wonderful shape. The practice wickets have been great and I think tomorrow's match is going to be one that the island has waited a long time for - but it's great to have cricket back in St. Vincent," Van Beek said.

Van Beek expressed confidence about defeating the Tigers using their past experience. He said, "We defeated Bangladesh in the last World Cup, and from there we have gained confidence. I hope that confidence will help us in our game tomorrow. We know that we can defeat Bangladesh. We will play according to this mindset,"

The former head coach of Bangladesh Domingo and fielding coach Cook are currently working with the Netherlands side, as a result, Van Beek was hopeful they would provide an added advantage over the Tigers.

"I think it (Ryan Cook and Russell Domingo) is an added advantage for us. Russell and Ryan know the players very well. They have coached them before. We are getting an extra benefit in the back pocket. We will try to use it as much as possible. They might give us some secret plan which will be unexpected for them. We are very confident because they know the players very well," he added.

Bangladesh are coming off to the match after a four-run loss to South Africa and a win against Sri Lanka. Bangladesh has two matches remaining, against the Netherlands on June 13 and Nepal on June 17.
