Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed delivered an impactful spell in the first session of the opening Test against the West Indies, claiming two wickets to leave the hosts at 50-2 at lunch on Friday at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
Taskin first dismissed West Indies skipper Kraigg Brathwaite with a clever setup.
After delivering a short ball, he followed up with a full-length delivery that sharply nipped back, striking Brathwaite on the back thigh and ending his 38-ball innings for four runs.
In his next over, Taskin took the wicket of Keacy Carty (0), who fell to a soft dismissal, mistiming a length delivery straight to mid-on.
