Bangladesh will be without batting coach David Hemp for their ongoing tour of the West Indies, a BCB official confirmed to Cricfrenzy on Wednesday.
Hemp, who joined the national team as batting coach in May last year, is reportedly in talks to return as the head coach of the High Performance (HP) Unit.
In his absence, Mohammad Salahuddin, the recently appointed senior assistant coach, will oversee the team's batting preparations during the West Indies tour.
"Hemp is not part of the series and for now the discussion is about this series only. Salahuddin sir is with the team and will be taking care of batting," the official told.
Meanwhile, Mohsin Sheikh is also not part of the West Indies tour. BCB appointed Akshay Hiremath as the performance analyst for just the tour of the West Indies.
